Osmond Brothers In Findlay
Toledo Blade
December 8, 2011

Nothing says family entertainment -- literally -- than the Osmond Brothers. The squeaky-clean clan has been around for five decades since they first appeared on the Andy Williams Show. They've been pop idols -- it's hard to believe now, but Donny was tough competition in the teeny-bopper realm for Michael Jackson in the 1960s and '70s -- and have evolved into adult entertainers stationed in Branson, Mo.

The group that will bring its holiday show Saturday to Findlay can perform any number of styles of music, ranging from pop and country to barbershop and rock, and they've recorded more than 200 albums and sold more than 100 million copies over the years.

The incarnation that is playing two shows at the Central Auditorium features Merrill, Wayne, and Jay. Siblings Donny and Marie are doing Christmas shows as well, but they will not be in Findlay.

Advance tickets for the 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. shows are $30 for adults and $28 for senior citizens and students. All tickets at the door are $33. For information or to purchase tickets call the Arts Partnership Box Office at 419-422-4624 or go to artspartnership.com. The Central Auditorium in Findlay is at 618 S. Main St., and box office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
